Grilled Pineapple Salsa

Ingredients
- 1 medium pineapple, peeled
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Prepare hot grill. Slice pineapple into ½ inch rounds. Grill, until lightly browned on both sides, about 10 minutes.
- Let cool, then finely dice, discarding tough core.
- Combine with remaining ingredients. Let stand at least 2 hours at room temperature.
