Grilled Jalapeno Cheese Bread

Serves: 4

Yields: 8 slices

Ingredients

  • 4  slices  sourdough bread
  • 2  tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 34 cup extra-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2  tablespoons  pickled jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1  tablespoon  pickled  jalapeno juice
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Mix mayonnaise, cheese and jalapeno brine.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Broil sourdough bread slice on baking sheet until golden, then flip and spread with chees mixture.
  4. Top with chopped pickled jalapenos and dash of paprika.
  5. Broil until cheese is melted and bubbly, then cut each slice in half.
