Grilled Cheese With Prosciutto, Basil and Dates

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons softened butter
- 8 slices crusty bread
- 8 slices prosciutto
- 8 slices monterey jack cheese
- 1⁄2 cup dates, pitted and thinly sliced
- 1⁄4 cup fresh basil leaf, torn
Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat or heat your Panini press to medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Buttered side down, layer 2 slices prosciutto, 1 slice cheese,.
- one quarter each of dates and basil and another slice of cheese.
- Top each with other slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Grill sandwiches until golden and cheese has melted. 3-4 minutes per side.
