Grill New York Steaks in Tsingtao Chili BBQ Sauce

Marinade steaks in a Chinese beer and chili spices.

Ingredients

  • 4  New York strip steaks, 1 1/2 inch thick
  •  salt
  •  pepper
  •  oil
  • 12 cup hoisin sauce
  • 18 cup  Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 14 cup beer, Tsingtao
  • 1  tablespoon  chili-garlic sauce
  • 2  tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1  tablespoon turbinado sugar
  • 1  tablespoon  sesame oil

Directions

  1. In a baking pan coat with oil and place the steaks and season with salt and pepper and turn over and repeat this step and let set for 30 minutes.
  2. Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and combine and let set until needed.
  3. Heat a grill over a high flame for 5 minutes and place each steak at a 45° angle to mark the steak on both side and finish grilling to the degree of doneness as you like. Mop on the bbq sauce the last minutes. Remove the steak and mop more bbq sauce before serving.
