Green Chile Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons  oil or 2  tablespoons  lard
  • 1  clove garlic (optional)
  • 12 cup onion, Minced (optional)
  • 1  tablespoon flour
  • 1  cup water
  • 1  cup green chili, Diced
  •  salt

Directions

  1. In oil in a heavy saucepan, saute' garlic and onion.
  2. Blend in flour with wooden spoon.
  3. Add water and green chili.
  4. Bring to a boil and simmer, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
