Green Beans My Way

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 2 (14 ounce) cans green beans
  • 2  slices bacon, diced
  • 1 12 cups water, if needed
  • 12 teaspoon salt, if needed

Directions

  1. Pour beans and bean juice into a medium sized saucepan.
  2. Add bacon, stirring well.
  3. Bring to a rolling boil.
  4. Cover with lid and turn heat to medium low. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  5. Add more water a little at a time if needed.
  6. Cook until beans are a little "mushy looking".
