Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, cut up
- 1 lb green beans, snapped
- 1 small onion, chopped coarsely
- 1 teaspoon salt
- to-taste ground fresh black pepper
- water, to cover
Directions
- Cook bacon until rendered. Add onion and cook until translucent.
- Add beans, salt, pepper, and water. Simmer until greens beans are tender.
