Green Apple Chutney

Yields: 5-6 pints
Ingredients
- 5 lbs green apples (chopped)
- 6 medium onions (chopped fine)
- 1 lb seedless raisin
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1 pint cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon clove
Directions
- Melt sugar in vinegar in keele.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until chutney is thick and clear.
- Seal in hot, sterilized jars.
