Greek Seafood Marinade

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 3 tablespoons Greek oregano, chopped
- 1 lemon, zested
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1⁄4 cup ouzo
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in small skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes to infuse the garlic flavor in the oil.
- Remove from heat; cool.
- Combine the garlic mixture and all other ingredients in a small bowl.
- Marinate fish or shrimp in a zip lock bag for 3-4 hours.
