Great Pie Crust

Yields: 4 covered pies
Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 1 lb lard
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4-1 cup milk
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients together and then mix in lard in chunks, using a fork or hand pastry blender.
- Add milk.
- Continue working with fork until just blended.
- Roll out and fill pie plates as needed.
