Great Appetisers: Ketchup Flavoured Cottage Cheese Sandwiches

  1. Cut the block of cottage cheese into 3 X 3 cm cubes of 1 cm thickness.
  2. Spread spoonfuls of ketchup on one side of the cottage cheese square.
  3. Place another cottage cheese square over it to form a sandwich.
  4. Likewise, repeat for all the cottage cheese squares.
  5. Keep aside on a plate.
  6. Lightly beat the eggs, one at a time, in a bowl.
  7. Empty the Knorr coating mix on a plate.
  8. Heat oil in a wok.
  9. Dip each cottage cheese sandwich first in the egg and then in the coating mix.
  10. Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame until golden brown in colour.
  11. Drain on clean paper kitchen napkins.
  12. Serve hot as an appetiser.
