Great American Cookie Pecan Cookies

This is a copycat recipe for the Great American Cookie Company's Pecan Cookies.

• Yields: 2 dozen cookies

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup shortening
• 1 1⁄3 cups light brown sugar
• 2  eggs
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1⁄2 cups self rising flour
• 1  cup  corn flakes, crushed
• 1 1⁄2 cups pecans, chopped

Directions

1. Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
2. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into 2 inch balls.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 9-11 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
