Grannys Holiday Punch

I first had this at the senior citizens center when I worked there. Lots of Grannies there who loved it, therefore, the name. It was the very best non alcoholic beverage I have ever had.I think the author may be Judith Smith. Show more

Serves: 50

Yields: 1 punch bowl

Directions

  1. Bring 1 qt of cold water to full roling boil.
  2. remove from heat.
  3. Add tea all at once.
  4. Brew 4 minutes.
  5. Remove bags, and put brewed tea in punch bowl.
  6. Add sugar and stir until disolved.
  7. cool to room temperature.
  8. Add juices and water.
  9. Refrigerate.
  10. when ready to serve, add ginger ale and block of ice.
  11. Garnish with lemon, and orange slices. Add cherries.
  12. Makes 50 servings.
