Grandpa Ross' Melt in Your Mouth Sugar Cookies

Excellent sugar cookies. Dough is easier to work with if it is NOT refrigerated

• Ready In: 20 mins
• Yields: 10 dozen

Ingredients

• 1  cup butter
• 2  cups sugar
• 2  eggs
• 2  teaspoons baking soda
• 2  teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1  cup  vegetable oil
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 5  cups flour

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Roll in balls, then in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and press down with fork or glass.
3. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
