Grandmother's Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) box  Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 12 cup mayonnaise
  • 2  eggs
  • 14 cup  oil
  • 2  tablespoons sugar

Directions

  1. Dump jiffy in bowl.
  2. Add eggs and oil.
  3. Add mayo and sugar.
  4. Stir well, mixture will be thick.
  5. Put in a 8 x 8-inch dish and cook at 350°F for 30-45 minutes.
  6. Makes a pan of cornbread that will hold up to beans.
