Grandmother's Chili Sauce

Ingredients
- 29 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 cup sugar
- 2⁄3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
Directions
- Mix all dry ingredients in a large saucepan.
- Add the vinegar; tomatoes, and onions; mix well.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Continue to cook, uncovered until it is reduced by half.
- Cool.
- Cover tightly and store in the refrigerator.
