Grandma's Tuna Casserole

My grandma was well-known for her cooking, She said she got this recipe from her Soroptimist days from a dear friend Katherine White. It's definitely been a family favorite! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Show more

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna fish
  • 14 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce) can  cream of mushroom soup
  • 2  cups  chinese noodles
  • 12 cup celery, sliced
  • 1  cup cashew pieces, unsalted (if salted, rinse well)
  • 12 cup 1% low-fat milk

Directions

  1. Place 1/2 of the noodles in buttered casserole.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over noodles.
  3. Cover with remaining noodles.
  4. Bake about 1 hour.
