Grandmas' Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 5 -6 green peppers
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup rice
- 1 small onion
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1⁄4 teaspoon parsley flakes
- salt and pepper
Directions
- cook rice as directed on package.
- cut tops off peppers and clean out the inside.
- combine all ingredience except tomato sauce and peppers.
- scoup mixture into peppers.
- top off peppers with remaining mixture and place in crock pot standing up.
- pour tomato sauce over top of peppers.
- sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- fill can half way up with water and pour into crock pot.
- set on low 6-8 hrs, high 4-6hrs.
- enjoy!
