This recipe comes from my Grandmother. This is a wonderful strawberry cake but it is very rich. She has been making this cake for about 50 years and it is always wonderful. Be careful with the strawberry juice mentioned in the ingredients, too much will make the cake soggy. Show more

  1. Sift together cake mix and Jell-O.
  2. Add the oil and milk mix well.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time beating well.
  4. Stir in the Strawberries, Coconut, and the Pecans.
  5. Pour into a 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Pour frosting over the cake while still hot. Let cool, slice and eat! YUM!
