Grandma Ruth's Strawberry Cake, Icing Recipe Follows...

Ingredients
- 1 (18 ounce) package white cake mix
- 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 (10 ounce) package strawberries (thawed with juice)
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
- Sift together cake mix and Jell-O.
- Add the oil and milk mix well.
- Add the eggs one at a time beating well.
- Stir in the Strawberries, Coconut, and the Pecans.
- Pour into a 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Pour frosting over the cake while still hot. Let cool, slice and eat! YUM!
