Directions

  1. Preheat to 400.
  2. Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs thoroughly.
  3. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Roll into balls.
  5. Mix 2 T sugar and 2 t cinnamon. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar.
  6. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned but still soft.
