Grammy's Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients
Casserole
- 3 cups smashed yams (about 4 yams peeled, baked and then mashed with mixer)
- 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2⁄3 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1⁄3 cup softened butter
Directions
- Mix all casserole ingredients together with mixer on low.
- Spread in 9" baking dish.
- Combine topping ingredients with a fork until butter is evenly distributed.
- Spread pecan mixture over the sweet potatoes evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees F.
