Gramma's Favorite Bran Muffins

Yields: 12-14 muffins
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup molasses
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups bran flakes
- 1⁄2 cup raisins (optional)
Directions
- Mix eggs, sugar, molasses, oil and milk together.
- Tip: measure in the oil before the molasses, then the molasses will pour easier.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in seperate bowl.
- Fold flour mixture into egg mixture.
- Then fold in bran flakes.
- Add raisins if desired.
- Fill paper muffin cups 3/4 full and bake at 325F for 20 minutes.
