Serves: 6-8

Yields: 6 bundles of tamales

Directions

  1. Note: 1 tsp red cayene pepper for milder tamales.
  2. Take 2 spoons of meat mixture.
  3. Roll oblong (weenie style) in salted cornmeal. Use cookie sheet.
  4. Seperate corn husk and soak in water.
  5. Take tamale and wrap tightly in husk.
  6. One end open the other folded. Tie in bundles of six.
  7. Place open end up. and place in a large pot.
  8. Pour boiling water over tamales.
  9. Bring to a boil & steam 2 hours.
  10. Can be frozen or canned. Re-heat in water or microwave.
