Gorgonzola Burgers

I decided to give this a try when my husband came home with bluecheese hamburgers from the store, loved them and wanted them again. It is a simple and fast recipe. My husband thought it was weird to have sliced cucumber instead of tomato, but I think it compliments the gorganzola nicely. Show more

  1. In a mixing bowl add the burger and cheese. Drizzle with the olive oil, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Combine lightly and using your hands, shape into a ball about the size of a tennis ball. Pat burger into shape.
  3. Drizzle more olive oil into a pan, allow to warm. Add the burgers and cook to your preference.
  4. Place burger on a roll, top with a piece of lettuce, sliced cucumber and onion.
  5. ENJOY!
