Golden Sauce Beef

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, shredded
- 4 green onions, cut in 1 1/2-inch lengths and then shredded lengthwise
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sherry wine
- 1 egg white
- 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions
- Marinate beef in Hoisin sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, egg white, soy sauce and sherry for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in frying pan until hot.
- Stir-fry meat mixture 3 minutes.
- Arrange shredded onions on top of meat before serving.
- Serve hot.
- Note: if cooked onion is preferred, add onion to meat mixture; stir-fry 3 minutes.
