Golden Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (18 1/4ounce) package lemon cake mix
- 1 (3/4ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 3⁄4 cup canola oil
- 1 (12 ounce) can Mountain Dew soda
- confectioners' sugar (optional)
Directions
- 1. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil and soda. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased/floured 10 inch fluted tube pan.
- 2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioner's sugar if desired.
