Gold Medal Chocolate Chippers

A classic favorite. Makes a big batch of chocolate chip cookies.

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream softened butter with sugars.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  4. Add soda, salt and half of flour and mix until well incorporated.
  5. Add remaining flour gradually and mix until well incorporated.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by rounded tablespoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 12-15 minutes until edges are done and centers are still a little chewy.
  9. Cool on cookie sheet about 2 minutes.
  10. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
