Gold Medal Chocolate Chippers

Yields: 48-60 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups flour
- 3 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Cream softened butter with sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Add soda, salt and half of flour and mix until well incorporated.
- Add remaining flour gradually and mix until well incorporated.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 12-15 minutes until edges are done and centers are still a little chewy.
- Cool on cookie sheet about 2 minutes.
- Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
