Glazed Peanuts

A tasty way to dress up peanuts. Makes a delicious gift around special occasions.

Ingredients

• 1  kg peanuts
• 1  kg raw sugar
• 3  egg whites
• 2  tablespoons water
• 1  pinch  grated nutmeg
• 1  tablespoon ground ginger
• 1  pinch cinnamon, to taste

Directions

1. Place all ingredients in baking dish.
2. Stir well to combine.
3. Heat oven to 150°C Place in oven and cook for about 1 hour, stirring regularly.
4. Leave to cool before storing in jars.
