Glazed Brie

Ingredients
- 2⁄3 cup finely chopped walnuts or 2⁄3 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1⁄4 cup Kahlua or 1⁄4 cup Amaretto
- 3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 ounces brie cheese (1 whole cheese)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spread nuts across the bottom of an ungreased pie plate. Bake 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until toasted. Stir in liqueur, brown sugar and vanilla.
- Reduce heat to 325°F Slice the top layer of rind off the Brie. Place the cheese in a small, ungreased baking dish and top with the nut syrup. Bake 8-10 minutes until cheese is hot and soft. Serve with crackers and slices of apple and pear.
