Glazed Barbecued Ribs - Baked

Ingredients
- 3 (1 lb) packages pork ribs, western (OR any variety ribs)
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
glaze
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 3⁄4-1 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel
- 3⁄4 teaspoon ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon clove
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- 3⁄4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
- In foil lined pan, place ribs on rack. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake uncovered at.
- 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn ribs.
- 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Make glaze.
- GLAZE - Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Discard bayleaf.
- Remove ribs from rack. Drain drippings. Return ribs to pan. Brush with glaze.
- Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes, until tender. Baste frequently.
