Giordano's Copycat Pizza Sauce (No Cook!)
- Reviews 1
Ready In: 3 mins
Serves: 8
Yields: 1-2 Pizzas
Ingredients
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomato puree (I like Contadina's)
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄2 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Whisk all ingredients together. Let sit "a couple-two-tree" hours. What could be easier?! This sauce is good for one deep dish or two thin crust pizzas. This also makes a good pasta sauce using some freshly made meatballs and sausage. Just let them gently simmer in the sauce for an hour. If you make this sauce for meatballs, don't stir the sauce too briskly. You'll wind up with meat sauce (which may not be a bad thing!).
