Ginger Sesame Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄4 cup minced garlic
- 1⁄4 cup toasted sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon hot chili paste (optional)
- 1 lb chicken wings
- tempura batter, of your choice
- oil, for frying
Directions
- Mix all ingredients except chicken and Tempura.
- Coat chicken in Tempura and deep fry until meat is cooked and golden in color. This will depend based on size of wings or if you choose to use breast pieces. Drain excess oil by placing on paper towel.
- Coat well in sauce and set on grated surface, i.e. cookie cooling rack, to allow excess to drain preventing Tempura from becoming soggy.
