Ginger Green Onion Butter

Yields: 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons  peanut oil
  • 2  teaspoons  minced fresh ginger
  • 14 cup sake
  • 13 cup  finely chopped green onion
  • 3  tablespoons butter, at room temperature

Directions

  1. Cook oil and ginger in a small saucepan over medium low heat for 2 minutes.
  2. Carefully add wine; simmer until reduced by half.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in green onions and butter. Season with salt and pepper.
