Ginger and Macadamia Nut Balls

Very nice, I make these at Christmas time. Real Aussie flavour.

Serves: 18

Ingredients

  • 250  g  gingernut biscuits, crushed
  • 125  g  roasted  macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 34 cup  condensed milk
  • 60  g butter
  • 1 12 cups coconut
  • 1  tablespoon golden syrup

Directions

  1. Combine biscuits and nuts in bowl.
  2. Add the condensed milk, butter and golden syrup to a saucepan and stir over a low heat until combined.
  3. Stir into biscuit mixture.
  4. Form into balls and then roll in coconut.
  5. Refrigerate.
