Gerogia Style Pork Barbecue

Ingredients
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 boneless pork shoulder (3-4 pounds)
- 1 dozen sandwich bun, split
Directions
- In a skillet, cook green pepper and onion in butter until tender. Stir in ketcup and vinegar. Cut the roast in half; place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Pour sauce over pork.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 6-1/2 hours or until meat is very tender. Remove pork; shred with two forks. Return meat to cooking juices; heat through. Use a slotted spoon to serve on rolls.
