German Chocolate Upside Down Cake

This is very easy and very rich. Great for chocolate lovers.

Yields: 1 cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) box  German chocolate cake mix
  • 3  eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13 cup  oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1  cup  shredded coconut
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce) box confectioners' sugar
  • 1  cup pecans
  • 12 cup margarine
  • 1 (15 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle brand preferred)
  • 1 (12 ounce) can  Coco Lopez or 1 (12 ounce) can cream of coconut

Directions

  1. Spread coconut and pecans in bottom of greased 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Mix and bake cake as directed on box.
  3. Cool.
  4. Punch holes in cake.
  5. Mix Eagle Brand Milk and cocoa lopez and pour over cake.
  6. Frost with cool whip and top with shredded coconut.
