  1. Cook pasta. Drain.
  2. In large skillet, heat butter and oil. Add garlic, shallots, clam juice and wine. Raise heat to medium high and boil uncovered until sauce is slightly reduced, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp, reduce heat to medium, and cook until pink and opaque. Stir in parsley and pepper. Toss pasta with sauce.
