garlic potato bread

this bread makes great grilled cheese sandwiches, and tastes great with melted butter

• Ready In: 3 hrs 10 mins
• Yields: 2 lb loaf

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄4 cups water
• 3  tablespoons butter
• 1  egg
• 4  cups bread flour
• 2⁄3 cup instant mashed potatoes (from a box)
• 1  tablespoon sugar
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 1⁄4-1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder, to taste
• 2  teaspoons  yeast

Directions

1. add all ingredients to bread machine, in this order.
2. cook on basic cycle.
3. note---- if you're going to make a smaller loaf you need an extra 1/4 tsp of yeast.
