Garlic Pesto Sauce

Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup fat-skimmed chicken broth
- 1⁄2 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaf
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat broth to boiling.
- Combine ingredients in blender or foodprocessor; process until basil and garlic are minced.
- (Or by hand,use a mortar and pestle: Mash basil and garlic together, then mixwith remaining ingredients.).
