Garlic and Lemon Carrots

Ingredients
- 1 lb carrot, peeled and cut into 1-inch slices
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon shallot, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
- Combine everything EXCEPT the lemon juice in a medium saucepan; cook, uncovered, over medium heat, approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Stir often until carrots are tender and a little liquid is remaining.
- Stir in the lemon juice and serve.
