Fun-Topped Fudge

I got this recipe from a "101 Things to do with Chocolate" recipe book. I've made this before and it is easy and delectable.

• Serves: 16-20

Ingredients

• 4 1⁄2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
• 1⁄2 cup butter or 1⁄2 cup margarine, melted
• 1 (11 1/2ounce) bag  semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
• 3⁄4 cup  chopped walnuts (for topping)

Directions

1. In non-stick pan, bring sugar, milk & butter to a boil.
2. boil 6-8 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. turn off heat.
4. stir in chocolate chips & marshmallow creme.
5. spread fudge evenly into greased 8"x8" or 9"x9" pan.
6. chill at least one hour before sprinkling topping on top.
7. lightly press topping into fudge.
8. refrigerate overnight.
