Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups canned fava beans
- 1 medium tomatoes, diced
- 2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 onion, diced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1⁄2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- 1.) Fry the onions until golden; add the garlic and cook until soft.
- 2.) Add the diced tomato, fava beans, and spices. Juice the lemon into the frying pan and cook through until hot.
- 3.) Serve with warm pita.
