Fudge Cookies

I needed a quick recipe that didn't require a lot of time, and this is quite good. I skipped the nuts and added an entire bag of chocolate chips instead of what the recipe listed, but I'll post it as written. Recipe courtesy of Duncan Hines. Show more

Serves: 36

Yields: 36 cookies

Ingredients

  • 15 14 ounces  devil's food cake mix
  • 2  large eggs
  • 12 cup  vegetable oil
  • 12 cup  semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 cup  chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease baking sheets.
  2. Combine cake mix, eggs, and oil in large bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Mixture will be stiff.
  4. Shape dough into 36 1 1/4 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
  5. Bake at 350 for 10 to 11 minutes. Cookies will look moist. Do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes on cooking sheets. Remove to cooling racks. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
