Fruity Rutabaga

Ingredients
- 4 cups peeled diced rutabagas
- 1⁄2 cup apple cider or 1⁄2 cup juice
- 3⁄4 cup halved cranberries
- 2 apples, cored and diced
- 1⁄4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Cover the rutabaga with water and boil until just tender.
- Drain well, and add all the remaining ingredients to the rutabaga.
- Simmer, stirring frequently, until well amalgamated.
