Fruity Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons light cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄3 cup dried apricot
- 1⁄8 cup dried pineapple
- 1⁄3 cup dried cherries
- 2 cups oatmeal
Directions
- preheat oven to 375*.
- grease and flour a cookie sheet.
- in large bowl, cream butter with both sugars, beat in eggs, cream and vanilla --
- sift 2 1/2 cups flour together with baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg --
- stir into egg mixture.
- dredge dried fruits in remaining flour, and fold in batter --
- along with oats --
- drop 2 tbls of batter per cookies onto sheets.
- and flatten with a spoon.
- bake 10-12 minutes or light browned --
- carefully transfer to racks.
