Ingredients
- 3 ounces bourbon whiskey
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons simple syrup
- 1 1⁄4 ounces fresh lemon juice
- 8 fresh mint leaves
- 3⁄4 cup crushed ice
- 1 sprig of fresh mint (to garnish)
Directions
- Place mint leaves, bourbon, simple syrup and lemon juice into a blender and pulse for just a second or two.
- Add 3/4 cup of crushed ice and blend until slushy.
- Pour into a chilled, large old-fashioned glass or large goblet and garnish with mint sprig.
