Ingredients
- 1 lb fish fillet
- 1 cup flour
- 1⁄2 cup cornmeal
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 cup shortening or 1⁄4 cup oil
Directions
- Rinse fish.
- Mix flour and corn meal and salt and pepper.
- Heat shortening or oil to high.
- Fry fish to golden brown on both sides and enjoy.
