Frosted Mocha Brownies

Ingredients
Brownies
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Mocha Frosting
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 1⁄3 cup baking cocoa
- 1⁄4 cup strong brewed coffee
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter; stir until smooth.
- Remove from the heat and add sugar.
- Mix well and add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the chocolate mixture until just combined.
- Pour into a greased 9x13x2-inch baking pan and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- Combine frosting ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Frost brownies.
