Fritos Cookies

These are tasty, simple to make and quick. Sort of like a "brittle" but better. Kids love them. I was on a game site and got to chatting. One of the players gave us this recipe. Show more

Serves: 20

Yields: 20-30 cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) bag  Fritos corn chips
  • 1  cup sugar
  • 1  cup  light Karo syrup
  • 1  cup peanut butter

Directions

  1. Pour the bag of Fritos (whole, not crushed) on parchment paper. I use a cookie sheet.
  2. Cook the sugar and Karo till boiling (stirring on medium heat) for a minute or so.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter.
  4. Drizzle over the Fritos. Cool completely then break into bite sized pieces.
