Ingredients

  • 3  large  ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 12 medium  white onion, finely chopped
  • 2 -3  serrano peppers, minced (with seeds if you want really hot)
  • 3  tablespoons  coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2  tablespoons fresh lime juice (or to taste)
  • 12 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a medium-size bowl; let stand for 15 minutes to blend to flavors.
  2. For best taste and texture, serve within 3 hours of preparing.
